Starting off in Carcosa

Characters:
-Start with 1600 XP using the standard Lamentations of the Flame Princess rules
-3d6 for Attributes, distribute as you wish. If you’re total modifier is 0 or less, you may reroll the whole set
-Max HP at 1st level
-Ignore Saving Throws, they will now be made by rolling d20 under one of your Attributes
-Only classes allowed are Fighters and Specialists. If you’d like to use a custom class, send me a link to it and I’ll check it out.
-Everybody starts with additional Skill Points equal to your INT modifier (if positive)

Skills:
-Languages is used to see if you know a language or can decipher a cryptic symbol you encounter in game.
-First Aid: On a successful roll, you can heal yourself or someone/something else of up to d4 + INT modifier HP (minimum 1 HP). This requires a medical kit, or some natural poultices/herbs/whatever dug up using Bushcraft.

Shields Shall be Splintered!
-You may sacrifice your shield to negate damage from one physical attack (or laser blast or whatever)

-Monster Hit Dice will be d8s, weapon damage is per the LotFP rules

-Pointy weapons gain a +2 vs. chainmail-type armors
-Heavy blunt weapons and two-handed axes get a +2 vs. platemail or similar armors
-Flails ignore the +1 AC bonus from shields

-Death at -5 HP. Characters reduced to 0 are knocked unconscious. Characters bleed at a rate of 1 HP per  hour when reduced to -1 or lower HP. A successful Constitution Save will negate bleeding damage for one hour.

-On an attack roll of a Natural 20, choose one:
-Special effect (lop off arms, stunts, etc)
-Roll 2 damage dice
-Deal max damage

On a Natural 1, roll for effect (d10):
1 Lose next melee round
2 Throw weapon 1d10 meters in a random direction
3 AC lowered by 1 until you can spend 1 minute adjusting your armor
4 Lose current attack and disrupt nearest ally's next attack (-4 penalty)
5 Drop your bag, slash open a sack of loot, drop/break a carried item
6+ nothing bad happens
